The characters in the story are three little pigs—Prático, Hector, and Cícero. Cícero, the laziest, didn't want to tire himself out and built a hut out of bamboo, straw, hay, and piles of mud. Hector decided to build a wooden hut without using the necessary steel nails, while Prático opted for a more structured house with cement, bricks, stone, and glass. Since his house took longer to build, Prático often saw his brothers having fun while he struggled to finish the work.
One day, a wolf appeared and knocked on the door of Cícero's straw hut, where he hid. But the wolf, with a strong huff, destroyed the hut. While Cícero fled, the wolf then came out and knocked on Hector's door and, with two strong huffs, destroyed the wooden hut as well.
Hector fled to Prático's house, where Cícero met with the owner. The wolf then went to Practical's house and blew, blew, blew, but could not knock it down. After many attempts, the wolf decided to wait until nightfall.
When night fell, the wolf tried to get into the house by climbing down the chimney, but he began to smell something burning. A pan was burning the wolf's tail. The wolf ran away in fright and never returned, and they lived happily ever after.
